Developed from the training materials developed by the International Council of Nurses as part of the ICN TB/MDR-TB Project, this resource aims to offer practical tools to nurses and others involved in caring for patients, families and communities affected by TB (including drug-resistant TB). It recognizes the challenges faced in providing high-quality care when resources are scarce and the workload is high. The underlying assumption is that by improving the quality of patient care, we will be able to reduce the impact of TB and the emergence of drug-resistance.
