MCHIP staff have co-authored an article in the journal Global Health: Science and Practice entitled “It’s about time: WHO and partners release programming strategies for postpartum family planning.”

With references to both the ‘‘Statement for Collective Action for Postpartum Family Planning’’ and its companion piece—“‘Programming Strategies for Postpartum Family Planning”—the article stresses the need for immediate efforts to encourage country programs to offer the family planning services needed and wanted by postpartum women.
